    Your save file is corrupted. Happened to me. Find the save folder and delete the contents. I cannot tell you where it is as it differs for everyone. SERIOUSLY. My last save was in Public>Empress>548430. I’m using the online multiplayer through epic games now, so my saves are located in documents.
    
    Google the SaveFile corruption error. It’s bugging even guys on xbox and PS5… xD. Techland again.

  no the error is connected to Trash Detector 9000 blocking the exe file of the game, because the game is in the “hot potato” column of the filter it uses. You have to remove it from there, then relaunch. Careful that you dont burn yourself while doing it tho.

i not even play game till end, (did mistake that make good ending impossible and game is not that good to start over (so watch endings on youtube, first games are so much beter, much more unforgiveable parcour (very high above the ground , so fall meaning die and start over from the floor, even with higher jump cheats, it was very hard and if you afraid of hight, …….. not if i play normal games, but if you must jump, i get really sick with moments and there where no save options, what mean terrible game hour of hours until you save (and mostly it was a quest you not had and cannot play and must start over later in game,

Tengo este juego para mi Xbox Series X y básicamente esta lleno de bugs, texturas de los enemigos que se estiran como chicle, caídas del personaje debajo del mapa, props que desaparecen y muchos mas bugs irrisorios…tenia la versión PC(cuenta compartida) y no recuerdo haber tenido fallos tan graves como estos, Gracias Empress lastima que al final he pagado por este juego que en mi humilde opinión no supera al primero y la ausencia de armas de fuego lo hace aburrido al menos para mi, le quita esencia ha un juego que bebe directamente de los Dead Island.

@shockshwat don’t confuse the scene with Empress. The actual warez scene has always only been about the skills and honor. No deals nor payments, just competition amongst who want to measure/compete according to the set rules for the particular scene set by the recognized groups themself.

To quote one of the older, long respected and true recognized Warez Group SKIDROW:

If you change the language in the file steam_api64.ini, the game doesn’t work. once the file is changed the game doesn’t work, you need steam_api64 empress file.
Mi ingles de google es horrible, no se puede modificar el archivo steam_api64.ini. Si se modifica el juego no funciona. Siempre se necesita el archivo de empress para que funcione.

  Yo, tu dois aller dans les dossier racine du jeu engine source , bin puis x64 et cherche le fichier .ini steam_api64.ini tu double clique tu l’ouvre avec le bloc note , tu trouve Language=english et tu le met en Language=french voila tu enregistre et c’est tout bon ! 🙂

It seems that the crack checks the size of the file steam_api64.ini (937 bytes). If I change the language entry to my language (german) with a common editor, the file size changes to 939 bytes and DL2 does crash at start. If I change that with a hex-editor to german (with one additional space after), the file size stays at 937 bytes and DL2 runs with german language.

    There’s nothing related to DL2 in Task Manager, hell you get this error message immediately after installation before launching the game even once.
    
    But restarting does fix the problem temporarily, next time you quit though you’ll have to do it again, which sucks ass.

The game Doesn’t work for me, It crashes after running “did run with administrator” no differences, tried to download steam_api64.dll, and uploaded into game, after that It did require me steam Itself… tried to restart game, still didn’t work.

Please copy the API file from game download folder:\EMPRESS\engine\source\bin\x64
and paste it to your game file location and also copy the files from :\EMPRESS\ph\work\bin\x64 and it paste it to your game file location. It will work.

  ISDONE.dll happens when the files didnt download correctly.
  if you can, move your download to another drive(you can move it manually and then rehash and sometimes the problem is solved when doing it)
  
  also make sure you ticked the “create sub folder” when you start the download(the window you get when you add a new download), some of the downloads might share files and cause this(even a shared info file might cause a different hash)

The game doesn’t allow me to progress in any way by Spike just standing on a rock and doing nothing. No objectives are shown nor are any markers. This is most likely a very rare bug but if anyone has a fix it would be highly appreciated.

played the game for 45 hours. overall FPS never goes down to 25. however, after entering the broadcast mission, I slept in PK HQ. after that FPS drop to 3. game is unplayable after.

the funny thing on the start screen (campaign, option etc FPS around 140 up and down), but after starting the progress dropped again to 3 or 4 FPS.

anyone has solution?

Hey guys, so I can run the game fine, no issues with playing the game. However I do have one small hiccup : when launching the game, especially the first launch after starting my pc, the game takes FOREVER to actually launch/start. I’m talking upwards of 5 minutes.

I click on the icon to launch the game, and then have to wait 5 minutes or more for it to start. First empress crack that takes this long to launch.

Anyone know what might be causing this? It’s not the worst problem in the world, I can still play it. I’m just wondering why it takes this darn long to actually Launch, especially the very first launch. Subsequent Launches take a little less time to load, but the initial launch takes just FOREVER.

Anybody have any advice? Thanks and cheers.

for those having the game crashing to desktop, what worked for was giving full access to Dying Light 2 Exe (shortcut on desktop) file to everyone .

Right click on exe file == properties == security == edit == tick full control for each user on that list

+ running the game as admin of course

For me game worked fine for 3 hours. After closing the game and playing again Game always crashed when loading my save game or tried starting newgame. I also tried deleting Empress save game files, reinstallng game, reinstalling direct x, changing timezone, disabling antivirus adding exclusion to folder, disabling in firewall. Nothing worked for me. It gives no error just crash the game.

  The crack files are the cause they got corrupted somehow. The only way I was able to run the game was downloading crack from cs.ru emp-dl2.crack.only.rar. After applying the crack the game ran.

now i know why people hate this game. add a bad crack to that too. haha…ready to make mission i dont even know how to stealth takedown an enemy unless i google it..no holding hands is just stupid if you ask me…at least until the game story matures that is…i dont know how to throw decoys..until i googled it…i dont know we have immunity to take care of…until i google it…i dont know how to finish a specific enemies…unless i googled it…you dont need stealth in this game cause the arrangement of zombies at night in tunnels is just uncoordinated to bring in decoys and other items to good use…you end up just fighting them anyway…DL1 is so good because the stealth actually matters…it may be that they saw kids in DL1 just shooting on volatiles and make it COD, they make the game worse this time?? lol definitely not recomended…night is just fighting boring in this game…no stealth is actually effective this time around…

run game as admin, will fix the game saves, i played several hours, closed game, went back in and wanted me to start brand new game, no option to load, ran game in admin mode, saves showed up, fixed

Every time you start the game play back and forth with graphing settings (i play with DLSS) and the stuttering vanish.

game works fine in low settings on my 10 year old potato, no crash and havent applied any fix or crack. Downloaded lossless version 23 gb installer in less than 15 minutes installed and playing
