Not only will this version check if your graphics card can do Ray Tracing, it will also check for the latest graphics cards. Even though a MSI 1080 OV edition can run this game no problem with RT on, just not this version, thanks to the developer of this game he decided to be an asshole. Get the Gold version, it has RT features and works perfectly with everything maxed settings in game.

supply using half of gpu power for the very very limited rt effects on first version is totally not comparable to run a game with a new engine based ONLY on rt…not just 1 reflection but infinites reclections, shadows, lights (all lights not just 1 per time )

I just bought a second 3090 (after selling the Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme 3090 to buy an ASUS EKWB Water cooled 3090 as the Gigabyte ran WAY too hot for my liking, the Water cooled 3090 doesnt go above 32c Idle & 53c at full usage, wheras the air cooled Gigabyte Xtreme 3090 was over 53c on IDLE!) & this edition is POINTLESS! It 110% loks MUCH WORSE to me, I have all settings on Ultra just like I did with the standard Metro Exodus & have all RTX settings on max, tried changing them as well but the game still looks WORSE! Seriously HOW is this “Graphically Enhanced”?? The ONLY difference I can physically see (Besides the contrast/brightness settings being much too high on this Enhanced version) is that I swear it looks worse. I OWN my copies of the game (in Epic Store) as I pre-ordered (& u get Enhanced for free if u own the game anyway) & NO WONDER its free! & even in ALL my other games that have RTX I see NO difference at all! RTX is the biggest load of overhyped FAKE shit in gaming history! wtf? There is no way I’m the only one with a 3090 or RTX card that see’s RTX is INVISIBLE rubbish??

The fact the Brightness/Contrast is MUCH too bright in this Enhanced version also made it look much worse & even when I adjusted the brightness so it was like the standard version it still looks CRAP! I finally understand WHY AMD didnt have Ray tracking on their previous gen GPU’s, because it does NOTHING! I can 100% show ANYONE an RTX game with RTX on/off & they will NEVER be able to guess which one is on or off, no way. The ONLY game that has Ray tracing make a difference is Minecraft & thats NOT just Ray Tracing anyway! Its a complete RE-Texture of the WHOLE game! Not just turning RTX “On” & having a game look completely different, that is just an advertising SCAM to fool noobs who dont know any better & to get people to buy Nvidia cards instead of AMD (Hint: Buy AMD, I’m regretting the OVER priced 3090 for the second time, although I do LOVE the temp difference on this watercooled 3090 compared to the WAY too HOT Air cooled 3090!

hi. I download this game…successfully install it. but when i try to launch the game, it keep crash.
when i launch it will prompt previous launch was unsuccessfull, would you like to start in safe mode, yes or no, i click yes. then it prompt message : Your system appears to not meet the minimum requirements for the pc enhanced version of Metro Exodus

-maximum shader model: SM6.4 (SM6.5 REQUIRED)
-Graphics device does not support dxr1.1 or above
-graphics devices does not support 16bit floating point arithmetic
i just ignore it, and click close. then fatal error message prompt a crash has been detected by bug trap, click close and ignore it. then the game just exit. failed to launch so many times. i try to run the game with graphic processors high perfomance nvdia processor but still failed to launch. i updated the graphic card driver. try launch the game, results still same. my pc spec is intel core i5 8th gen, graphic card nvdia mx150, ram ddr4 8gb 2400mhz, windows 10. what is the solution?can you help

how change the language ingame? i follow steps on youtube and go to options, but when i change it to english and go back to menu it maintains the ukrainian language
just for anycase any one having problems –
min ram req is 6.5gb for the intro of the game (will not work for people with 8gb ram)
afterwards you will need to play the game in russian soundtrack because you will hear a distorted version of English and the sound will be poor and distant.
